Our client located in Buffalo Grove, IL is looking for a Credit & A/R Supervisor to join their team!

Ideal candidate will be responsible for Reporting to the Credit and Receivables Manager, this position will assist the Manager in the oversight of the day-to-day responsibilities managing all aspects of the branch level Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections Department including Billing. Lead the new customer review and account setup including establishing credit lines. Manage collectors and cash application team and monitor all collection activities and develop processes to improve cash flow and downsize Receivables. Responsible for learning all functions in Credit and Receivable area and to provide back up support as needed and maybe required to provide periodic training and coaching to team members. Facilitate relationship with Customer, Sales Dept. and internal operations, ensuring resolution of customer issues in a professional and timely manner. Will have primary accountability as point of contact for customers performing audits and reconciliations, while resolving account issues in a timely manner. Process and review account adjustments and credit memos for customer accounts. Meet departmental goals and metrics, within assigned portfolios. Will closely monitor and resolve customer deductions in a timely manner and will provide technical support and work review to departmental staff. Maintain and update accurate customer account records (i.e. notes), SOP’s and streamline workflow and prioritize team responsibilities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
