Controller- Crystal Lake, IL- 105517

Our client located in Crystal Lake, IL is looking for a Controller to join their team!

Responsibilities include taking ownership of the month-end close and financial statement preparation. Provide supervision and mentoring for staff and coordinate all general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, fixed assets, cash flow management, budgeting and revenue and expense recording. Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and practices relating to the management of all accounting related functions. Assist in planning and establishing economic goals and objectives for the company. Analyze financial and accounting data, prepare financial reports. Prepare departmental and company-wide budgets; monitor compliance throughout the year. Determine depreciation rates of assets and advise management on operational adjustments due to tax revisions. Prepare financial statements, corporate tax returns, and other reports required by regulatory agencies. Collaborate with department managers on cost control/reduction opportunities. Educate business partners on financial impacts they have on the business through improved analysis and review. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA/MBA preferred. Strong Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience. ERP/MRP experience (EPICOR system experience is a plus). Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel. International Travel as needed – maybe a few times annually to Mexico
