Assistant Controller- Wheeling, IL- 105530

Our client located in Wheeling, IL is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team!

Ideal candidate will be responsible for oversight of an accounting group of over 20 employees (A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting). Lead the month end close & financial reporting. Perform Financial Analysis and Cost Analysis. Maintain and improve company internal controls. Handle annual physical inventory. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance- CPA or MBA is a plus! Manufacturing industry experience, Supervisory/Management experience. Sound knowledge of GAAP. Demonstrated leadership skills. ERP system experience (Oracle is a plus).
